CCDO Demolition Chargehand (3 Year Card)
The CCDO Demolition Chargehand card teaches individuals the skills required to function as a team leader on demolition sites. Holders will already have 5 years demolition experience and will learn to supervise less experienced operatives and perform additional duties such as preparation and delivery of site inductions. The red card is valid for 3 years and is non-renewable. Red cardholders must complete NVQ Level 3 within the 3-year timeframe to convert the card to a fully qualified Silver Chargehand card.
Duties
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with RAMS.
- Reporting to site supervisor.
- Delivering Tool Box Talks.
- Team Leader directing and working alongside operatives.
- Preparation and delivery of site inductions.
Pre-requisites

Must have held a blue Demolition Topman card (5-Year) and have 5 years Demolition Industry experience. To obtain a fully qualified Demolition Topman card, you must meet all the pre-requisites for that card; have completed the 1-day course and passed Level 2 Topman NVQ. Key Notes
