Craig MacWilliam

Chairman

Elected as NDTG Chairman in February 2021, Craig is a Member of the IDE, a former Regional Chairman for National Federation of Demolition Contractors Scotland & Northern Ireland Region and Managing Director of his own demolition operation. He brings significant industry knowledge to his position in the NDTG leadership team.

Simon Barlow

Vice Chairman

Elected as NDTG Vice Chairman in February 2021, Simon is a former Regional Chairman for National Federation of Demolition Contractors London & Southern Counties Region and Managing Director of his own demolition operation. A passionate advocate for workforce development and the CCDO card scheme, Simon will bring valuable input to NDTG over his two-year term.

Howard Button

CEO

Howard is a demolition industry veteran and was instrumental in the development of the CCDO Card Scheme. Also CEO for the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, Howard ensures synergies between the two operations, plus partners including CITB, NOCN and NOS, that result in raising standards across the entire UK demolition industry.

Lesley Ransome

Group Manager

Lesley oversees operations for both NDTG and National Federation of Demolition Contractors. The spectrum of her role is vast. From Human Resources, strategy and finance to innovation in the world of demolition training, she is passionate about developing worker competence and making training accessible for all UK demolition firms.

Iain Kirk

Training Officer

Iain is responsible for ensuring the NDTG team is fully aware of current industry news and changes in legislation. He liaises with NDTG trainers and audits courses to ensure an exemplary standard is maintained. He travels the length and breadth of the UK visiting demolition contractors to guide them with relevant and cost effective training solutions for up-skilling their workforce.

Natalie Barlow

Marketing Manager

Natalie is a Marketing Strategist with two decades of experience. Working in a dual role for NDTG and NFDC, the breadth of her role covers everything from digital marketing and advertising to brand management and events. Coming from a training and development industry background, Natalie brings transferable skills and know-how to the NDTG team.

Bryony Saletes

Marketing Coordinator

Working in a dual role for the NFDC and NDTG brands, Bryony provides marketing support on a day-to-day basis, ensuring NDTG courses and funding options are promoted to members across a wide range of channels and demolition industry training news is reported in a timely manner. Bryony also co-authors the NDTG news bulletin - The Training Standard.

Kim Sharp

Graphic Designer

Kim is a member of the dual NFDC/NDTG marketing team and carries out creative design work for the Training Group brand across print and digital advertising, e-shots, course materials, marketing materials and events. Kim played a key role in the impactful presentation of careers in demolition at the renowned World Skills UK careers fair.

Maureen Cruz

Accounts Administrator

Maureen is responsible for NDTG Accounts. She seamlessly manages Finance and also has the important task of issuing CCDO cards to the demolition workforce following successful completion of training. Maureen ensures that NDTG's customers are invoiced at the correct value for money rates, based on membership status, special offers and funded course availability.

Sarah Cooke

Administration Team Leader

Sarah has worked with NDTG for almost a decade, and as a result her knowledge of demolition training is second to none. She is on hand to support the demolition workforce in finding the right training course and with progression from red cards to renewable Competent Operative cards through completion of NVQs.

Ellie Chambers

Training Administrator

Ellie shares responsibility for open course scheduling and bespoke training programmes. She works closely with NDTG trainers and is well equipped to match trainers with companies effectively, ensuring an optimum training experience. Ellie is also on hand to advise of the best value training options for individuals and companies.

TRAINING FACILITY

Vitalia House is NDTG's primary training venue, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. State-of-the-art training rooms are fully equipped with the latest AV technologies and a purpose built training workshop enables a practical and interactive experience for candidates.

NDTG delivers demolition training nationwide at selected venues in the North East, North West and Midlands, or you can opt to train at your own premises.

ACCREDITATIONS & AFFILIATIONS

  • The NDTG administers the CCDO Card Scheme (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) throughout the UK.
  • We are also a CPCS Accredited Centre offering categories of Plant specific to the Demolition Industry.
  • Our affiliated card schemes are qualified through a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).
  • The NDTG is an Accredited NVQ Centre offering Level 1, Level 2, Level 3+, Level 4, and Level 6 qualifications.
  • We are an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) through CITB.
